Esmeralda and the Fortune Teller tent

I think this lady might be one of my favourites and here she is at work on a stormy night at the carnival. Esmeralda is by Rick and can be found here at Rick's Zibbet store and here at Rick's etsy store. The Fortune Teller Tent is available here this is going to come in very useful as a background to many other images.
Printed on neenah, coloured with promarkers. The sky is shaded with chalks on my own stencil. The necklace is made with liquid pearls.
I hope you can visit me on my blog for more details, Sue

I Brake for Starry Suzi

Hello Blog land! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Were you able to get the creative juices flowing? Aletha here to help inspire you into the Christmas spirit.

I have created a 5¾” art card using the I Brake for Stamps (IBFS) digital image, Starry Suzi. This little beauty was created by Rick for IBFS. You can find Starry Suzi in digital format only. IBFS also has the exclusive rights of Rick’s Randi Dandi images, meaning that you can find a lot of these eclectic images in rubber form too. Della and Rick have thought of everything.

Starry Suzi was colored with Copics. I fussy cut her and then popped her up on the original image. Starry Suzi and most of Rick’s Randi Dandi’s do not need a lot of embellishments. The images speak for themselves. I have all the details on my blog at AJ’s Designs.

We hope that you if you use a Rick St. Dennis MFA image in any of your artwork that you will head to our RSDFacebook group and share. Rick has a brand new and expanded store on Zibbet. Come visit to see some new images, and some revamped ones to.

Thanks for stopping by! If you have any questions, don't hesitate contacting me.

Pretty in Pink!

Hi there, Kristen here to share one of the newest cards I made, using Esmerald 2 digi.  She is a lovely, detailed lady, and she was amazing to color.  So many gorgeous details in this stamp.  She will make a great card for a birthday, or a sassy thinking of you!!!
Here is a little closer look.  I had envisioned her in red and black, but with my craft room such a mess, I could find any paper I liked to go with her, so next best thing, Pink and black. Whatcha think???  Well, I hope you enjoyed the card, and happy crafting!!!

Adriana

Hiya Sue here. This is my first try at colouring one of Rick's ladies. This is Adriana and you can find her here at Rick's Zibbet store and here on Etsy. She was an absolute dream to colour as the drawing had slightly shaded parts to hint at a deeper colour. Now then, if I can create something like this just imagine what someone who can actually colour would be able to do with this image.
As always, I have printed her onto neenah...Crafters Companion had or still has an offer...buy 50 sheets of neenah and get 20 free sheets plus a little selection of unmounted bunny stamps and free postage.
I used my promarkers...three new shades (at least to me...) and just framed her and we're good to go.

Just cause it's spooky..

Hi, Helene here to remind you that just cause it's spooky it doesn't mean it can't be cute :).
I used my favourite Halloween image Pumpkin witch  and made a gift tag.

The image is coloured with Tim Holtz distress markers, the pearl spray is made by gluing pearls to thick fishing line and the lace frame I got by scrunching loads of lace and fasten it with hot glue behing the image.

I Brake for a Randi Dandi Christmas

Aletha here with a little Christmas inspiration for you today, or I hope that I can inspire you. It seems like that all I have been doing is creating for Halloween, so I thought that I would try, once again, to get in the mood for Christmas crafts.

Today I created my second Christmas card using Rick St.Dennis’s Minty Miranda from his Christmas Randi Dandi collection at I Brake forStamps (IBFS). The Minty Miranda that I used is in the digital format. You can also get her in rubber as a single, or as a group of four rubber stamps.

I colored Minty Miranda with Copics and added some #9 clear Swarovski crystals to her earrings and necklace. The designer papers I found were the perfect colors. You can find all the details for my little piece of art at AJ’sDesigns.

Did you know that Rick as opened up an expanded online shop at Zibbet? You need to check out all the images that he has taken out of retirement and all the new ones. I need to go do some shopping.

When you do use an RSD image, we would love it if you could come share it with us at Rick’s Facebook group.

Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions, you can always contact me.

Christmas Love

Karen here!  I get to be a Guest DT over at C.R.A.F.T. challenge blog this week!!  The challenge theme is ‘Christmas’.  Rick St Dennis is sponsoring!!  I used one of my favorite RSD Christmas images for this one Christmas Couple.  Because Mrs. C is a side job during that time of year...  I made the little bear stick pin and connected it to the glitter tulle bow and rose.  I also added some burlap and another bow.  The sentiment is from Create With TLC’s ‘Christmas, All About The Love set‘.

Have a great day!

Halloween with Magic Wanda!

Aletha here with a Halloween project. I love Halloween, and this year I have been able to create several things for this popular holiday.

I would like to introduce you to Magic Wanda. This beauty was designed by Rick St. Dennis MFA for I Brake for Stamps (IBFS). She was a lot of fun to color with Copics too. You can find her in digital format, or as a rubber stamp, whichever you prefer, at IBFS.

My designer paper is Echo Park’s the Apothecary Emporium collection. Wanda’s web is from a die-cut that I painted black. Her stars are wood veneer from my stash. For more information about all my supplies, please stop by my blog, AJ’s Designs.

Karen C and her Retail Therapy

Hello again!  Karen C (aka: busybusyhoneybee) here...I just finished playing with one of the funnest sets in Rick's Zibbit Shop - it is called ‘Mall Girls'.  I was inspired to play with this after doing A LOT of retail therapy yesterday (from 2pm - midnight)...I don't have any $$ left...taking donations now!  haha - just kidding!  If you visit my blog you will find a nice surprise for you to use in the write up!!

There are a lot of people who wonder how to use the sheets so ***A tip for buying and using sheets***  Open the sheet into the program you normally use to crop/paint/create.  Crop one image at a time.  Once you crop one use a paint program (with 'white paint') to get rid of what is left over from the images next to it…do this for each image on the sheet.  This will make it so you can save them all as individual images.

Here is the fourth image from the sheet

Here is my card

Que Sera Sera

I just adore these images from Rick. I printed the digi's larger than normal as there is so much detail I wanted to enjoy every bit. Gypsy Wagon is available from Rick's etsy store and from his zibbet  store,  and Esmeralda is available here at the etsy store and here  at Rick's new zibbet store.
I also used a one scene digi called pebblestone patch  and one called cobblestone path from Make it Crafty. I really love the idea of building up scenes using different digis.
Digis were printed onto neenah, coloured with promarkers. Esmeralda was fussy cut and layered, swirls cut with my cricut, flowers from WOC.
More details can be found on my blog I hope you will visit me there soon, Sue x

RSD and IBFS at Christmas Time

Aletha here with some Christmas inspiration (or at least I hope you are inspired). I have been so heavy into Halloween, this was a much needed break. The image that I used today is from I Brake for Stamps (IBFS). IBFS is the place to purchase Rick’s very popular Randi Dandi series digital or rubber, along with a lot of his bear and clown designs.

The main image is one of favorites, Noel Holiday Bonnet, designed by Rick for IBFS. Rick’s designs go from the cute to the bizarre. Rick’s eclectic style lends to reaching each artistic style out there.

For now, Noel is available in digital image format in the IBFSChristmas section. I am sure that in the near future you will find that IBFS will have these available in rubber too. But if you like your rubber stamps, Della has a wide range of Rick’s images available in rubber.

Noel was colored with Copics. I then added some Spica pens and Stickles for some accents. Some Spellbinder’s dies and a little paint added the last touches to my first Christmas card. You can find out more details about my Christmas art card on my blog, AJ’s Designs.

Rick has opened up a shop on Zibbet. I hope you stop and check out all his cool digital designs. Have you visited our Rick St. Dennis Facebook group? Lots of inspiration for you every day.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you have a great and creative week.

Just a Bit Out There

Rick is sponsoring The Crafter's Cafe Challenge Blog this week!  The challenge theme is "Just A Bit Out There".  You can take that however you want (aliens, use an image that isn't "normal" for the occasion, funny...), have fun with the theme!!  You can do up to three interpretations!  For instance; I went with the new Flying High image because it is 'just a bit out there' having a mouse fly the broom!

Mo and I (Karen C) both created an image for this challenge, her as a Guest DT and me as a DT...LOL

Here is my creation...be sure to go to my blog for full details!
