Ballerina Princess Bear and Cordelia Mouse

This week Rick is sponsoring a challenge at Cute Card Thursday and I (Helene) have made a GDT project for that challenge, using the Ballerina Princess Bear rubber stamp. The image is coloured with distress markers and lots and lots of glitter glue. I adore this stamp, and it is even possible to get as a set with six different - but equally cute - bears so that you can make correlating projects. The set is called Bears set #1

Anna also made a project for this with Santa Nap Time.

Rick is also sponsoring Trimmies Craft Challenge  and I (Miranda)  am a GDT for this Challenge.
I used Cordelia Mouse for my creation, isn't she adorable. I really think she is totally cute. You can find Cordelia in Rick's Zibbetshop here (just click on the link).

enjoy the challenges

Perpetual Calendar with Helen

Hi every one, Croms or as others know me - Helen.
I'd like to share a little project I've been working on.

A calendar that will not need replacing year after year.
It features twelve little mice in a variety of poses - a different one for each month.
The full story can be seen over on the Tutorial blog. I hope you've been and visited - there are some amazing tutorials from the EDT past and present and some special guests as well. Letting you all into some of their secrets and maybe providing a solution into a long standing problem you might have. We'd love to hear from you there.

Here's a little teaser of the months. Now you know you'll have to check out the rest.

The Mice used in the calendar are now available as a set with a special price 25.00 USD, only available for a limited time.  Then they will be on sale in Rick's Zibbet shop at the normal price.

Regular price $36.00 or $3.00 each. The special saves $11.00

Busy Little Chap

One of my first tags for this Christmas. Rick has a whole sheet of Busy Little Elves here and this one goes very well with my homemade chutney...the recipe for which is here on my blog...hope you can visit, Sue

‘Twas the night before Christmas…

and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.” This time of year is my favorite for creating Christmas cards. I always do the traditional and complimentary colors, red and green, even in my house. I may add the touch of gold or purple, but the majority of my cards will be very strong in red and green. With that rule, “The Night before Christmas” image, designed by Rick for I Brake for Stamps, was perfect for those two colors. You can find this little guy in digital format in the Rick’s digital section under the Randi Dandi Section.

I colored “The Night before Christmas” with Copics and added some Gelly Roll Stardust glitter pen for some accents. My dies cuts are Spellbinder’s Holly Motifs. Before I release the cardstock from the die, I distressed the embossed areas with Gathered Straw Distress Ink and added Stardust glitter pen to those areas. Finished it off with some flat-backed red pearls.

Did you know that Rick’s Etsy shop is now closed? Don’t fret, he is now in a much better place, Zibbet! He has over 682 images for you to pick from, even some really cute mice.

Here’s a few other links where you can find Rick online: Facebook group (we would love for you to join us and share your little pieces of art using Rick’s images), Rick’s Facebook page, Rick’s Gallerie, and the new Tuts & Comments.

Thanks for stopping by. You can find more details at my blog, AJ’s Designs. Wishing everyone in the United States a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

You can find Rick's digi A Stitch In Time here at Rick's Zibbet store. The recipe for the card can be found on my blog. Hope to see you there. Sue.

A Christmas Dress

Hi all!  Today I have a very cute art card using one of Rick St. Dennis’s Christmas digital image, “Christmas Dress,” available at I Brake for Stamps (IBFS). If you are one of those that just have to get your rubber stamps out to feel the thrill (I know that I am), you can also find her in a single rubber stamp or in a sheet of four amazing rubber stamps.

I printed Christmas Dress out twice and colored both images with Copics and added some sparkle with Spica pens in blue, yellow, and red. I kept everything in traditional Christmas colors, which I love. After the coloring, I fussy cut both images, but one image I fussy cut out just the little girl. I have more information on my blog at AJ’s Designs.

Don’t know if you have been to Rick’s Zibbet shop, but if you haven’t, please do. He has more than 600 images posted, and everything is categorized for easy access.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you stop by here daily. There’s going to be a lot of inspiration coming up.

art journal page and first attempt with copics

I haven't used copics before, but this is my first attempt. My friend Raffaela lent them out to me to try and guess what, now I want them  too, nice and quick to use. Just need to figure out which colours i would like to buy, so many choices , about 400...unbelieveable isn't it.?

Made the background with Deco Art paints and stamps by Dylusions (dangling heart and quote), Imagination Crafts (leaves) and Noor! Design for Joy (grass with flowers). The image is Krissy Kringle by Rick St Dennis and available in his Zibbet webshop here. Did you know that there are over 600 images in the shop?? Amazing isn't it?

 used colours
 Deco Art verf

Americana weathered wood crackle paint
Glamour dust:  Lavender glitterpaint
Dazzling Metallics: emporer's gold and copper

Autumn Nap

Hi There, Kristen here to share a card I made using Ricks super cute Autumn Nap image.  This image would be perfect to make a note card set of fall or Thanksgiving cards to give someone as a gift, as this image is super quick to color.  Speaking of coloring, I used my copics, using the YR20, YR21, YR23, and YR07 on the pumpkin, and E30, E34, and E37 on the mouse.  A super quick card, and like I said, it would make a great note card set with a thinking of you!
Well, I hope you like the card. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day and Happy Crafting!

Randi Dandi Betti and Spring

Happy Monday! Aletha here, and I hope everyone had a great and creative weekend. I know that I had a good one. I was in my studio most of the time. I love it when that happens.

My project this week is really for spring time. I know, we just got over Halloween, and now getting ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I needed some spring and summer colors. It seems like all I have been doing is Halloween. Now that’s over, and I have been dealing with fall colors. I needed some sunshine!

I would like to introduce you to Betti, from Rick’s Randi Dandi series at I Brake for Stamps. I colored her with Copics, of course, and added a few handmade flowers to enhance the spring time mood. I adore Rick’s Randi Dandi series. Most of the designs have marvelous hair styles, and I love coloring hair. I have all the details and links on my blog at AJ’s Designs.

We have our November Newsletter Freebie Challenge going on. If you received your newsletter, you should have the cute mouse. You have until November 23 to enter. If you need to subscribe to Rick’s monthly newsletter, click here. We would love to see you enter. Rick has Priscilla Pilgrim available at his Zibbet shop.

Thanks for stopping by. If you have any questions, please contact me.
